Tues 13th May - Welsh League Division One

Goytre Utd 3 Caerleon 0

This game was not a good advert for Welsh League football with so much at stake, Goytre won at a canter against a Caerleon side with seven first team regulars missing. The home side scored three first half goals in the first half-hour and hardly got out of second gear for the remainder of the game. Sour grapes, not really Goytre are the best side in the league and deserve to win it and they have beaten Dinas three times this season but if this was a boxing match it would have been stopped in the second round.

Sat 10th May - Welsh League Division One

Dinas Powys 2 Pontardawe 1

Under the circumstances one of the best wins of the season, a goal down and reduced to ten men they had to show true character to come back and win with a penalty from Geza Hajgato and a great goal from Drew Fahiya, his twenty-fourth of the season.
